Artichoke Spinach Dip
1 jar marinated artichoke hearts, chopped
1 c mayonnaise
2 T garlic
16 oz frozen spinach
16 oz shredded parmesan
2 pkg cream cheese
Combine ingredients, put in pan. Sprinkle
with grated parmesan and bake 350 degree oven until bubbly. Top with fresh roma tomatoes
Rye hors d'oeuvres
1 small can chopped Olives
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 cup chopped Green Onions
1 cup grated Parmesan
¼ tsp Curry
1 clove Garlic, crushed
Mix and spread on small Rye bread rounds. Bake until bubbly. These freeze pretty good.
Filipino Chicken
1/4 C soy sauce Garlic to taste
1/4 C vinegar Salt to taste
1 T light corn syrup 1 frying chicken
Combine soy sauce, vinegar, corn syrup, seasonings and pour over chicken in a 2 qt or larger sauce pan. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until tender. Serve hot or cold - main course too
Ben loved chicken cooked any way but this was his favorite
and it's so simple. Sometimes I would do just thighs or just breasts instead of a whole chicken.
